On 17th August, the Aroma Team from CSIR-IIIM Jammu organized a one-day awareness and plant distribution program, following the guidance of the esteemed Director of CSIR-IIIM Jammu. The event coincided with the inauguration of the 13th J&K UT Shooting Championship held at Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
The program attracted over 50 participants and dignitaries, who visited the CSIR-IIIM stall. The event was graced by Shri Rajinder Singh Ji Tara, Director General of Sports J&K, who served as the chief guest. During his visit, he engaged with the exhibits showcased at the stall. He took a keen interest in the exhibits displayed at the stall.
Dr. S.R. Meena highlighted the significant role that medicinal and aromatic plants play in our daily lives, stressing their social and health benefits. The event concluded with the distribution of various medicinal and aromatic plants to the participants and dignitaries, aiming to spread awareness and highlight the significance of these plants.
