CSIR-IIIM Jammu, on 25th March,2024 inaugurated an awareness, training and lavender quality planting material (QPM) distribution programme at Badnota zone Lohai Malhar Sub division Billawar on 12th march, 2024.

The main objective and aim of the awareness program was to create awareness among the participants for employment generation and to achieve the dream of the honorable Prime Minister of doubling income through industrially important crops over traditional cropping.

Farmers showed their interest in cultivating aromatic crops after interacting with scientists and agriculturists for better economic returns.
