The CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM), Jammu, recently organized an awareness program under the Aroma Mission Phase III project at Toli, Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand on 2nd October 2024. The event aimed to educate the local community about the cultivation and processing of aromatic crops, with a particular focus on lavender.
During the program, experts from CSIR-IIIM provided detailed insights into the benefits of cultivating aromatic crops like lavender, which have significant potential in improving the socio-economic status of farmers in the region.
