On March 24, 2024, CSIR-IIIM Jammu launched an awareness, training, and lavender quality planting material (QPM) distribution program in Srinagar. As part of the CSIR-Aroma Mission-III project, the event saw the distribution of 395,000 lavender plants to 174 farmers in the region. The primary goal of this initiative is to support and empower farmers, paving the way for a sustainable future.
