On 30 October 2025, a farmer training program was conducted in Village Bashumga, located in Dunda Tehsil, Uttarkashi District, Uttarakhand, under CSIR–IIIM Jammu Aroma Mission Phase-III. The session focused on educating farmers about the cultivation techniques and commercial potential of medicinal and aromatic crops such as rosemary, lavender, and other species. Participants were made aware of the economic benefits and livelihood opportunities that can be achieved through the scientific cultivation and value-addition of these aromatic plants.
