On 09/12/2025, as part of the CSIR–IIIM Jammu Aroma Mission Phase-III, a farmer training program was organized in the Gumad Laga Village located in the Tharali Block of the District Chamoli, Uttarakhand. During the visit, agricultural field surveys were carried out, and suitable patches were identified for cultivation. In this program, farmers received training on growing medicinal and aromatic plants such as Rosemary and Lavender. They were also made aware of the advantages of cultivating these crops and the opportunities created through their processing and industrial utilization.
