CSIR–Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (CSIR-IIIM) organized a QPM Distribution Program at Seri, Bhalla from 24 December 2025 to 27 December 2025, during which lavender QPM (Quality Planting Material) was distributed to farmers. The program was conducted to promote lavender cultivation and to support farmers by providing high-quality, scientifically validated planting material.

During the distribution period, a total of 31 farmers were provided with 59,500 lavender QPM. The planting material distributed was healthy, disease-free, and genetically uniform, ensuring better crop establishment and improved productivity.

Farmers were also briefed on recommended agronomic practices, including planting methods, spacing, and basic crop management, to maximize the benefits of the distributed QPM. This initiative aligns with the mandate of CSIR-IIIM to strengthen the aromatic crop sector and enhance farmers’ livelihood opportunities through technology dissemination.
