Lavender QPM Distribution Program was organized by CSIR-IIIM at Bhaderwah on 20 February 2026.

CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine organized a Lavender QPM (Quality Planting Material) Distribution Program at Bhaderwah on 20-02-2026 under the CSIR Aroma Mission. The programme was conducted with the objective of promoting lavender cultivation and strengthening the aromatic crop-based economy in the region by providing quality planting material to the farming community.

During the programme, a total of 62,878 lavender QPM plants were distributed among 44 farmers. The initiative is expected to enhance farmers’ income, encourage crop diversification towards high-value aromatic crops, and create sustainable livelihood opportunities, thereby further accelerating the lavender revolution in Bhaderwah under the CSIR Aroma Mission.
