Under Aroma Mission Phase-III, CSIR–IIIM Jammu conducted a Lavender distribution programme on 08-01-2026 at Gandoh, Bhalessa. The event was held in the presence of SDM Gandoh, Sh. Arun Kumar Ji, along with other officials. During the programme, 23,800 QPM of lavender planting material was distributed free of cost among 16 beneficiary farmers. The initiative aims to promote lavender cultivation in the region and enhance farmers’ income through aromatic crop–based livelihood opportunities.
