CSIR-IIIM,JAMMU
CSIR–Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (CSIR–IIIM) organized a Rosemary Quality Planting Material (QPM) Distribution Program at Neota Seri, Bhaderwah, from 28th to 30th December 2025, aimed at promoting rosemary cultivation as a high-value aromatic crop in the region.
During the program, a total of 79,700 healthy and disease-free rosemary planting materials were distributed among 42 farmers. The supplied QPM was of assured quality, ensuring better crop establishment and enhanced productivity.
Farmers were also educated on recommended agronomic practices, including proper planting techniques, ideal spacing, and basic crop management for rosemary cultivation. The initiative sought to encourage crop diversification and support farmers in increasing their income through the adoption of aromatic plants.
The program was carried out successfully and received an enthusiastic response from the participating farmers, reflecting a growing interest in aromatic crop cultivation in the region.
