CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM) Jammu organized a one day awareness-cum-training programme on dated 19.12.2017 on the cultivation, processing and marketing of aromatic plants.

The main objective and aim of Awareness Programme was to create awareness among the participants for employment generation and to achieve the dream of honourable Prime Minister in doubling income through industrially important crops over traditional cropping.

Under the Aroma Mission, the farmers will be given free planting material for one acre of the land.

The farmers, growers and agro-entrepreneurs enthusiastically participated in good strength and they showed their interest in cultivating aromatic crops for better economic returns.
