CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM) Jammu organized a one-day awareness campaign on aromatic crops and the distribution of quality planting material of variety CKP-25, lemongrass, at Dansal Block of District Jammu on September 8, 2023.

The main objective and aim of the awareness program was to create awareness among the participants for employment generation and to achieve the dream of the honorable Prime Minister of doubling income through industrially important crops over traditional cropping.

In this program, more than 20 progressive farmers from different villages participated, and the distribution of one lakh seventy-five slips of lemon grass for a seven-acre area to registered beneficiaries’ farmers has been done.
