CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM) Jammu organized one day -distribution programme on “Lavender culitvation” for farmers at Doda village of Darhal, Rajouri on dated 13.11.2023 on Distribution QPM to Farmers under CSIR- Aroma Mission Phase III.

The main objective and aim of the program was to create awareness among the participants for employment generation and to achieve the dream of the honorable Prime Minister of doubling income through industrially important crops over traditional cropping.

More than 60 farmers have attended the program. The officials explained to the farmers regarding cultivation of Lavender and the future of the crop in the region. Sarpanch of the Doda village and other Panchayat representatives were also participated in awareness program.
