CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM) Jammu organized a one day awareness-cum-distribution programme on Rosemary and Lavender for farmers at village Hadam, in Tehri District of Uttarakhand on 24.12.2023.

This program aims to empower local agriculture through the cultivation of medicinal and aromatic crops contributing to the economic development of farmers in the region.

The main objective and aim of the awareness program was to create awareness among the participants for employment generation and to achieve the dream of the honorable Prime Minister of doubling income through industrially important crops over traditional cropping.

The officials explained to the farmers regarding cultivation of Rosemary and Lavender crops in the region.
