On the occasion of Science day 2024, a one day Awareness-cum-training programme has been organized in the Udhampur Campus of University of Jammu under the theme “Aromatic crops and Biodiversity”. Dr. Suphla Gupta, Sr. Principal Scientist (CSIR-IIIM Jammu) and Nodal Scientist CSIR-Aroma Mission was the guest speaker in this event. Students, Farmers and members of the civil society participated in the event. Rector of the Udhampur Campus of University of Jammu Dr. Yash Paul Sharma along with Assistant Director J&K Science, Technology & Innovation Council welcomed Dr. Suphla Gupta.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Gupta awared the gathering about the Aroma Mission, crops included in the mission and how the people can benefit from the cultivation of these crops and the essential oil produced from these respective crops.
