On August 9, 2024, CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM) organized a training-cum-awareness program at Pawa, Lalitpur, Uttar Pradesh. The event, conducted under the CSIR Aroma Mission-III, focused on “Catalyzing Rural Empowerment through Cultivation, Processing, Value Addition, and Marketing of Aromatic Crops.”
The program aimed to empower local farmers by introducing them to the economic opportunities associated with aromatic crops. The training covered a wide range of topics, including the selection of suitable aromatic plants, cultivation techniques, processing methods, value addition, and marketing strategies.
