CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM), Jammu, organized a one-day awareness-cum-distribution program on Lavender for the farmers of Doda and Bhaderwah, Jammu and Kashmir on 27.12.2023 under CSIR Aroma Mission Phase-III.

The main objective and aim of the program was to create awareness among the participants for employment generation and to achieve the dream of the honorable Prime Minister of doubling income through industrially important crops over traditional cropping.In this program progressive farmers from different villages of Bhaderwah and Doda participated.

Farmers showed their interest in cultivating aromatic crops after interacting with scientists and agriculturists for better economic returns.
A good number of progressive women farmers actively participate in this program.
