CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM), Jammu, organized one-day awareness-cum-distribution program on Lavender for the farmers of Drodhu and different village of Bhaderwah, Jammu and Kashmir from 25.12.2023 to 31.12.2023 under CSIR Aroma Mission Phase-III.

The main objective and aim of the program was to create awareness among the participants for employment generation and to achieve the dream of the honorable Prime Minister of doubling income through industrially important crops over traditional cropping.

In this program progressive farmers from different villages of Bhaderwah participated.

The officials explained to the farmers regarding cultivation of Lavender and the future of the crop in the region. 

A large number of progressive women farmers actively participate in this program.
