CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM) Jammu organized awareness programme on “Lavender cultivation” for farmers of Mukhwa, Dharali & Jhala villages of District Uttarakhand on dated 4.07.2024 under CSIR- Aroma Mission Phase III.
The primary goal of the awareness program was to inform participants about employment opportunities and to support the honorable Prime Minister’s vision of doubling incomes by promoting the cultivation of industrially significant crops instead of traditional ones.
More than 60 farmers from different villages of District Uttarkashi have attended the program.
