Awareness program conducted by CSIR-IIIM under Aroma Mission Phase-III in different villages of Block Bhatwari at Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand by the Project Staff of CSIR-IIIM, Jammu on 2.07.2024.
The main aim of the awareness program was to create awareness among the participants for employment generation and to achieve the dream of the honorable Prime Minister of doubling income through industrially important crops over traditional cropping, and provide training to farmers for cultivation of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants.
More than 60 farmers have attended the program..The officials explained the cultivation of crops from lab to land and from land to market aspects were well explained guaranteeing the technical support to be provided in future endeavors.
