CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine Jammu under Aroma Mission Phase-3 organized a one day“Kissan Sammelan: Viksit Bharat sankalp yatra ki aur” in Ramnagar of District Udhampur on 14th, January, 2024. Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of State for Science and technology and Vice president CSIR graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The programme was organized under the patronage of Dr. Zabeer Ahmed, Director CSIR-IIIM Jammu. More than 600 farmers from various villages of Ramnagar Tehsil of Udhampur district attended this programme. Quality planting material was also distributed with an aim to sensitize the farmers about the versatile and high valued aromatic crops.

Dr. Suphla Gupta (Nodal officer, Aroma Mission-III, CSIR-IIIM Jammu) , Dr. Saurabh Saran, I/C TBIC, Dr. Rajendra Bhanwaria, Dr. Sabhajeet, Mr. Akash Verma and Mr. Ankush Verma were in the team who organized this event.
