CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM) Jammu organized National Workshop on CSIR-Aroma Mission: Value Addition of High Value Aroma Ingredients for Socio-Economic Upliftment & Rural Prosperity dated 28.03.2018 on the cultivation, processing and marketing of aromatic plants in the around 150 growers and agro-entrepreneurs participated. The main objective and aim of Awareness Programme was to create awareness among the participants for employment generation and to achieve the dream of honourable Prime Minister in doubling income through industrially important crops over traditional cropping.

Under the Aroma Mission, the farmers will be given free planting material for one acre of the land.

The farmers, growers and agro-entrepreneurs enthusiastically participated in good strength and they showed their interest in cultivating aromatic crops for better economic returns.
