CSIR-IIIM Jammu, on 25th March, 2024 inaugurated an awareness, training and lavender quality planting material (QPM) distribution programme at Banihal, District Ramban. In this program 94,800 Lavender plants to the 37 farmers of Chamalwas, Banihal, Lamber, Zanchosa under the project CSIR- Aroma mission-III.

The main aim of the program is to address the farmers and empower the farmers for a sustainable future.
