CSIR-IIIM Jammu, inaugurated an awareness, training and lavender quality planting material (QPM) distribution programme at village Manda in Uttarakhand on 1st April,2024. Under CSIR-Aroma Mission-III, 17600 rosemary plants were distributed to 12 farmers at Manda village.

The main objective and aim of the awareness program was to create awareness among the participants for employment generation and to achieve the dream of the honorable Prime Minister of doubling income through industrially important crops over traditional cropping.
The officials explained to the farmers regarding cultivation of Rosemary crops in the region.
