CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM), Jammu, organized a one-day awareness-cum-distribution program on Lavender for the farmers of Kishtwar of Jammu and Kashmir on 28/12/2023 under CSIR Aroma Mission Phase-III.

The main objective and aim of the program was to create awareness among the participants for employment generation and to achieve the dream of the honorable Prime Minister of doubling income through industrially important crops over traditional cropping.

In this program progressive farmers from different villages of Udhampur participated, and the distribution of about 65000 Lavender quality planting material has been done under CSIR Aroma Mission-III.
